The American Daffodil Society maintains a "Suggested List of Intermediate-Sized Daffodils".

The ADS defines an intermediate daffodil as a standard daffodil in Divisions 1, 2, 3, 4, or 11 having a single floret whose diameter is typically greater than 50mm and through 80mm.

Intermediate daffodils may be entered in ADS show exibition classes for standard daffodils as well as classes reserved for intermediate daffodils.

Fl. star-shaped, 65mm wide; perianth segments 25mm long, oblong in outline, blunt at apex, brilliant greenish yellow, paler at base, with white mucro, inflexed, plane to a little twisted, with margins slightly incurved, creased and of heavy substance, overlapping one-third; the inner segments a little narrower, more strongly inflexed; corona 30mm long, narrowly funnel-shaped, smooth, pale greenish yellow, mouth wavy, a little flared and deeply lobed, with rim crenate.
