Fl. 110mm wide; perianth segments 46mm long, broadly oblong in outline, blunt at apex, mucronate, bright golden yellow, spreading, concave, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping one-third; the inner segments much narrower, ovate and shouldered at base; corona 13mm long, cup-shaped, smooth, deep orange-red, mouth expanded, broadly ribbed and lightly frilled, with rim crenate. Strongly scented.
