David WheelerFl. 85 mm wide; perianth segments broadly ovate or somewhat oblong in outline, blunt or squarish at apex, only slightly mucronate, greenish white, spreading or slightly reflexed, plane to slightly concave, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, overlapping 1/3; inner segments narrower and ovate, tapering abruptly at base, a little inflexed, creased; corona cup-shaped, loosely ribbed, opening light greenish yellow, soon becoming greenish white, with some brilliant greenish yellow at base, and orange-pink at rim, mouth slightly flared, frilled, with rim notched.
