Fl. orange-gold; perianth segments twisted; corona with mouth expanded, rim dentate.
According to Grant Mitsch in his article “Daffodils in the Pacific Northwest”, in the July 1940 issue of Journal of the California Horticultural Society, he states: “…it has great depth of color, being a rich pure golden-yellow, deeper in tone than ‘King Alfred’ , and with a larger flower.”
