VeulFl. 110mm wide, facing downwards; perianth segments 45mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, scarcely mucronate, opening pale yellow green with brilliant greenish yellow at base becoming greenish white, spreading, concave, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, slightly inflexed, shouldered at base; corona 45mm long, funnel-shaped, angled, brilliant greenish yellow, mouth ribbed, wavy and lobed, with rim entire and broadly flanged. Sweetly scented.
A description according to the 2014 Living Gardens online catalog: “The pale yellow petals of ‘Cornish King’ are highlighted by the bright yellow, crimped cup.”
