Fl. 110 mm wide.

Origin of Name

From a letter from Murray Evans: ” . . . H-8, which is being introduced this year.  It is a 2b with long, yellow cup that is fluted and shirred at the margin, and all this embellishment being white . . . very contrasty.  The first time it bloomed we dubbed it Bearded Lady, and fully intended to register it by that name, then at the last minute I chickened out and called it ‘Chorine’.  That white frill could be likened to some of the feathers and fuzz on a chorus girl’s costume.”
