Fl. rounded, 85 mm wide; perianth segments very broad, mucronate, brilliant greenish yellow, spreading, concave, with margins incurling, overlapping half or more; the inner segments creased at midrib; corona disc-shaped, heavily ribbed, vivid yellow, very deeply 6-lobed, the lobes overlapping and margined with a broad band of orange, tightly frilled.
