Fl. rounded, 112 mm wide; perianth segments very broad, shouldered at base, rounded at apex, brilliant yellow, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping; the inner segments only slightly narrower; corona cylindrical, ribbed, strong yellowish pink, mouth straight, frilled, with rim notched.
