Fl. forming a double triangle, 112mm wide; perianth segments 46mm long, very broadly ovate, blunt, mucronate, white, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments narrower, less prominently mucronate; corona 24mm long, funnel-shaped, constricted at base, angled, bright yellow, mouth straight and wavy, with rim crenate.

Named after its parents, ‘O’Hope’ which is a New Zealand Beach Resort and ‘Sun Child’.
