Fl. forming a double triangle, 94 mm wide; perianth segments ovate, rounded at apex and mucronate, shouldered at base, brilliant yellow, spreading, plane, with margins incurling, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping; the inner segments narrower; corona cylindrical, ribbed, orange-red, mouth lobed, flared, wavy, with rim rolled and crenate.  Strongly scented.
