Fl. rounded, 72 mm diameter; perianth segments very broad in outline, squarish at apex, prominently mucronate, spreading, overlapping half; the inner segments somewhat narrower, more usually rounded at apex, truncate, slightly inflexed, with margins curling; corona disc-shaped, small, ribbed, yellow, with green at base and reddish orange at rim. Resembles a less brightly colored ‘Quetzal’. Is a sibling to ‘Bon Bon’, ‘Vienna Woods’ and ‘Mountain Poet’.
